The Town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley, Inc., are hosting a coloring contest Kid’s Page “Color Me Bunny” for children ages 3 -13 and a Tell Me a Story contest for children ages 8- 13. The winners in each age group will receive an Easter basket filled with goodies!
Participants will have the option to pick up their coloring page and writing prompt at two different locations: the Taos Public Library or Taos Youth & Family Center. The deadline to turn in your coloring page and story is Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Taos Public Library or Taos Youth & Family Center. The winners will be notified on Thursday, April 13, 2023, by telephone and/or email.
Kid’s Page “Color Me Bunny” Contest – A contest for children ages 3-13. Children will color the bunny page with their favorite colors, using markers, coloring pencils, or crayons. Parents, please write your child’s name, age, phone number, and email address on the back of his/her page. The coloring contest will be judged based on creativity, and winners will be selected from the following five age groups: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-13. Tell Me A Story Contest - A contest for children ages 8-13. Children will write their creative story on the paper provided, or they can print it. Please include the participant's name, age, phone number, and email address on the back of the story. Stories will be judged based on creativity, and winners will be selected from the following three age groups: 8 - 9, 10 - 11, and 12-13.
