TOWN OF TAOS

RESOLUTION  NO. 2005-15

WHEREAS the Town of Taos has adopted its operating budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005 and,

WHEREAS the governing body of the Town of Taos, meeting in Special Session this 30^th day of March, 2005 wishes to adjust its operating budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005.

NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved that the governing body of the Town of Taos, meeting in Special Session this 30^th day of March, 2005, adopts this budget adjustment and respectfully requests approval from the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration to effect this budget adjustment.

            Capital Expense - Headworks Construction - Grant    $   225,000.00

            Capital Expense - Headworks Construction - Town   $   162,500.00

                Sub-Total           $   387,500.00

            Capital Expense - San Juan Chama Water - Arsenic Removal    ($   225,000.00)

            Capital Expense - Manhole Rehabilitation ($     60,000.00)

            Capital Expense - Two Monitoring Wells    ($     10,000.00)

            Capital Expense - Dona Ana Water Line Loop    ($     52,500.00)

            Capital Expense - Rehabilitation N. Plaza Sewer            ($     40,000.00)

                Sub-Total           ($   387,500.00)

(To adjust the Utility Improvements Fund, this Budget Adjustment Request will transfer from five projects to cover the total construction cost for the Headworks project.)
